Vice President, Asset Management Strategy & Business Transformation - New York , New York, United States, 10261
Duties: Responsible for supporting multiple high-priority initiatives. Projects would include strategic analysis, M&A strategic fit analysis, and business improvement projects that lead to profitable growth. Plan, design, and successfully execute solutions that impact the business and deliver results, while building strong relationships with senior management. Responsible for analyzing business performance, measuring return on investments, and enhancing productivity and efficiency. Advise on several efforts simultaneously across a range of functions, business and organizational units. Identify and bring together the right stakeholders, resources, content experts and decision makers to meet goals. Develop program charters, business cases, project plans, team structure, and governance models. Conduct clear analysis, logical structuring and creative problem solving on critical issues. Assess risks, costs, and benefits of alternative decisions and approaches. Design processes and tools that yield sustainable improvement and return on investment. Work with Asset Management CEO and Operating Committee to set strategic direction of the company. Support several projects simultaneously across full range of business units and functions on topics including growth strategy, efficiency, organizational design, and M&A. Identify and assemble appropriate stakeholders, resources, content experts, and decisionmakers to solve business problems and execute proposed solutions. Logically structure projects and then drive insightful analysis and creative problem solving. Assess costs, benefits, and risks of alternatives decisions and approaches. Design complex models and processes and tools to support business partners.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in finance, business administration, or related field plus 1 year of Management Consulting experience, Internal Strategy experience, Financial Modeling experience, or related experience OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, business administration, or related field plus 5 years of Management Consulting experience, Internal Strategy experience, Financial Modeling experience, or related experience.
Skills Required: Must have experience developing business insights and hypotheses. Must have quantitative experience, including building complex models. Must have experience scoping and structuring complex projects . Must have prior consulting experience. Must have M&A valuation and strategic fit analyses experience. Must have prior financial services experience. Must have demonstrated knowledge of financial securities. Must have demonstrated knowledge of financial planning and analysis.
