NCSA's VP of Sales Strategy and Operations will conceptualize business transformation projects and work to optimize the effectiveness of NCSA's 500+ person salesforce and achieve consistent and growing sales success. The VP of Sales Strategy and Operations will partner with NCSA's President, EVP of Sales and the Sales Operations team to identify opportunities and solutions to grow sales and optimize the sales funnel. This key leader will be responsible for workforce planning, compensation plans, and Salesforce.com oversite, as well as other key aspects of the NCSA selling process. The VP of Sales Strategy and Operations will foster close working relationships with sales team members and other company stakeholders to ensure the sales organization has highly efficient operations and successful goal attainment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Workforce planning
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and strategy recommendations
  • Responsible for lead distribution and team alignment;
  • Fully leverage capabilities of Salesforce CRM & Marketing Cloud and other existing salesforce enablement technologies;
  • Concepting, planning and execution of projects geared towards improving sales productivity and effectiveness;
  • Development and implementation of test and learn processes;
  • Metrics optimization and data visualization;
  • Sales Process improvement. Work closely with sales and marketing management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies;
  • Serves as point person within sales organization for sales incentive compensation plans
  • Oversee budget of 500+ person salesforce


  • Minimum five years of sales operations experience and at least 3 year of sales operations management experience of 200+ person sales teams
  • Great team player with demonstrated leadership ability
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and acting on data insights
  • Familiarity with Operations Research or optimization concepts
  • Experience designing and implementing lead routing strategies
  • Experience with compensation plan design and implementation
  • Experience with seasonal workforce planning
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience successfully utilizing data to drive change
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced high growth competitive culture
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or graduate degree a plus
