We are seeking a Data ManagementData Analytics SME, with significant LEADERSHIP, STRATEGY and EXPERTISE in conceptualizing, building and leading an enterprise Data Management practice for a large Consumer Products company in NJ. This position will own overall strategy and vision for Data Management Analytics, reporting directly to the CIO and C Suite team. The VP of Enterprise Data Management and Analytics will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Data Science and Analytics, Data Management and Business Intelligence and Reporting IT Enterprise Chapter. This position provides leadership, planning and management for all areas of strategy, development, and implementation. This position is the technical owner for key enterprise-wide operational data, business intelligence and analytics. This role oversees and orchestrates the plan, definition, design, and delivery of data management, analytics, data science, business intelligence and reporting capabilities. The primary areas that this role will support, and own will be the Data Architecture, Data Science, Governance and Compliance, BI Reporting and tools, and Cloud based Analytics across the entire company. The VP of Data ManagementAnalytics will develop the roadmap for the company and be responsible for the rollout of analytic solutions to improve and optimize business performance and minimize risk. This individual will have responsibility for establishing the technical foundation for each of the key areas identified, allowing the business leaders to develop key insights to effectively manage the business today and in the future. The VP of Data Management Analytics will conceptualize and lead strategy, architecture and the development of data, experimentation and analytics solutions. This role oversees and orchestrates the plan, definition, and design of data management, analytics and data science capabilities. They will support the proper design and implementation of Enterprise Tools to ensure the integration, collection, processing and organization of business data required for management reporting, experimentation and analytics. As the Enterprise DataAnalytics leader, you will maintain a strong focus on end-to-end talent management and strategic guidance of the team. You are responsible for evaluating, hiring, developing, coaching, performance management and managing talent, but without traditional oversight. This is an Agile environment, and as such, the VP Data ManagementAnalytics will be responsible for making sure the workflow to and through the team is efficient and effective by deploying agile tools. Your role involves safeguarding, shaping, and servicing the broader organization, as well as ensuring the other cross-functional teams and Scrum teams have the right infrastructure to support their work. MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE A Minimum of 10+ years in a leadership role, ideally in data management and governance, business intelligence, reporting, data science, data architecture, data analytics and predictive analytics, support of information systems and information technology. Expertise in defining an overall enterprise data management, analytics and data science, business intelligence and reporting strategy and delivering against that strategy. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics (advanced degree preferred). Minimum 8+ years of experience with data platforms and services. Minimum 8 years of experience leading data warehouse management including data warehouse architectures, infrastructure components, ETLELT and reportinganalytics tools and environments. At least 8-10 years of experience leading architecting, developing, internet scale production-grade Big Data solutions in virtualized environments. A Miniumum of 5-10 years of experience leading complex data science efforts. Solid expertise working with big data, information retrieval, data mining and machine learning. Strong knowledge of design, data structures and algorithms. Demonstrated knowledge of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, networking and massive data storage. Solid expertise and understanding of quantitative analytics including marketing analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, digital attribution, forecasting, optimization and predictive analytics. Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging information technologies and high scale data processing environments. Solid understanding and proven track record leveraging Enterprise Data Management Analytics methodologies and best practices.
