Position Title

VP, Professional Services Strategy (Execution Segment)




Leads the vision, strategy development, and go to market approach for the Supply Chain Execution Segment within Professional Services (Warehouse Management, Transportation Management and Warehouse Labor Management). Identifies and evaluates strategic growth and value enrichment opportunities that significantly drive customer value and revenue growth for JDA. Responsible for aligning the Professional Services organizational structure with our 3 + 1 product strategy as well as driving a close working relationship with the Product Development organization. This role will also collaborate with Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Sales to ensure alignment with JDA-wide strategic initiatives and to help drive key sales opportunities.


* Lead go-to-market initiatives for customer targeting, pricing, positioning, and launch strategies for the Execution Segment
* Responsible for Services and market intelligence: Consumer of analyst reports, market reports, SEC filings by competitors, key customer & competitor strategies, macro-economic and geopolitical trends. Industry benchmarking on aspects of our business
* Provides oversight and ownership for the Services Portfolio, also partnering with larger Offer Management effort
* Establish the services roadmap for our next generation product solutions with templates, methodologies and implementation tools - measure improvement and suggests adjustments as needed
* Drives GTM strategy for all product/programs, alongside their PMG counterparts
* Responsible for overall field enablement, including tight alignment with PMT/PAC product and program launch deliverables
* Participates in and guides the transition to SaaS and the corresponding changes within Professional Services
* Responsible for assigning Professional Services representatives to the Program Core Teams
* In partnership with PMG, works to incorporate 'implementability' capabilities into the product roadmap to drive faster time-to-value
* Provides oversight and guidance on NOW and Implementation template (Global Template), interacting with analyst on deployment methodologies and innovation
* Partners with Sales on large sales opportunities to drive the value proposition
* Acts as an advisor on transformational accounts
* Is leveraged to create E2E large consulting opportunities besides multi-product license
* Care and nurture large accounts to provide on-going value proposition and create a sustainable large account program in collaboration with GSD/Services Partners and CEs

* Helps in delivering on key requirements around Cognitive and DCT/Edge in respective segments
* Collaborate and influence product roadmaps to help deliver on large programs

Required Skills

* BS/BA degree or equivalent required
* 10+ years of professional services experience, with at least 5 years of strategy experience
* Strong knowledge and experience in Warehouse and Transportation Management
* Experience in product/service portfolio management
* Experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or in a strategy function
* Accomplished in developing and executing strategic plans
* Proven success in dealing with business leaders on all levels and able to manage effectively within a matrix organizational structure
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills
* Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize deliverables
* Ability to manage global, multiple projects simultaneously
* Self-starter, collaborative, and team player
* Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Strong time management and organization skills
* Motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented
* Advanced degree is a plus
