Utilizes supply chain software to fill, order, stock, and distribute supply orders. Requires basic skills to provide support in filing, ordering, stocking and distributing supplies. Some supply chain functions require more technical skills and heavier use of technology. Requires to test out of Level I and move to Level II if performing more technical skills and heavier use of technology. Some Supply Chain areas/functions do not require any level higher than Supply Tech I. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, Mercy Service Standards, and Accounting of Stewardship.
Qualifications: Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
- Education: High School degree or GED equivalent required
- Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of supply chain experience preferred, but not required
- Other: Basic math skills Computer skills described in Job Responsibilities Service oriented person with background in purchasing and an aptitude in computer and warehouse procedures. Proficient with fork lift and picker equipment required. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to follow oral and written directions. Proven attention to detail, particularly numbers, required. Possess the ability to work in a team environment. The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job
