Summary: The Supply Operations Department manages all necessary activities to receive and fulfill customer's orders in a timely fashion to ensure patients' needs are met. The Order Management Analyst coordinates all necessary activities to receive and fulfill customer's orders in a timely fashion to ensure patients' needs are met. The Analyst will liaise with internal and external groups to facilitate product disposition of Commercial & Clinical DS/FDS & DP/LDP and ensure product availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Works closely with a cross-functional team (i.e. Supply Chain team, DP Manufacturing, CMC-PM, Pack & Label Batch Disposition, etc.) to receive and track incoming customer orders throughout implementation.
Manages PO/ Order Tickets acknowledging / acceptance process and ensure this is done within agreed upon timelines.
Monitors key milestones associated with the execution of the order and effectively identifies potential risks to the timeline. Assesses potential issues against specific orders and cross-functionally coordinate mitigation plans to maintain original timeline or reduce delay and impact.
Ensures effective, accurate and timely communication between internal functional areas of order status, potential constraints and mitigation plans.
Reports risks and follows proper escalation path as necessary.
Acts as a focal point for customers and the business regarding order status.
Facilitates meetings with customers and key stakeholders to review status of current orders pipeline.
Establishes and manages key business intelligence reports to effectively and accurately communicate orders status from receipt though implementation.
Enables continuous assessment for cross-site alignment ( Rensselaer vs Raheen). Understand any mis-alignment, conduct any necessary gap analysis and drive relevant actions to remove gaps.

The position can require domestic and foreign travel.

Experience in pharmaceutical / biotech industry is a plusLean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus.
APICS or other related purchasing certifications a plus.
Education and Experience
Associate Analyst- Supply Operations: Requires Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Mgmt., or Science background and 0-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Analyst - Supply Operations: Requires Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Mgmt., or Science background and 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Senior Analyst- Supply Operations: Requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Mgmt., or Science background and 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience preferred.
Masters' degree preferred.
