STRATEGY INSIGHTS & PLANNING ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT/PIPELINE STRATEGY & LAUNCH
Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultants (SIPACs) create and deliver solutions for our clients and project teams. SIPACs leverage their analytic, synthesis and communication skills to derive insights and solve business problems. In particular, SIPACs apply problem-solving frameworks to client issues, support client teams in change initiatives and employ standard analytic techniques to help guide client decisions.
Develop understanding of the broader biopharma and MedTech landscape, including technologies, platforms, and assets in development;
Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems;
Integrate multiple data sources (primary, secondary and analytical research) to inform complex problems;
Structure and develop client deliverables in PowerPoint, including integrating analysis and telling the story in a clear and effective manner;
Structure and conduct market research and/or desk research using secondary sources to derive insights and inform project deliverables;
Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, Confirmit and ZSs proprietary software;
Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations;
Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact on aspects of projects;
Provide client and ZS teams project status updates;
Project management for smaller projects or modules of larger projects;
Advance problem-solving skills and improve ZSs capabilities;
Guide and mentor Associates on teams.
Bachelors or Masters degree required in any discipline with strong academic performance in analytic and quantitative coursework (business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics or relevant fields);
A PhD in life sciences highly preferred;
2 or more years of prior management consulting or investment banking experience is strongly preferred; a PhD may reduce work experience requirements;
A demonstrated interest in both the science an business aspects of healthcare;
Previous financial valuation experience a plus (forecasting, financial modeling, due diligence assessment);
