Portfolio Strategic Planning
Support strategic planning process, including interdependencies between business and functions with coordination of priorities
Facilitate structured reviews of businesses, strategy initiatives and implications (budget considerations, resource allocations)
Support agenda and materials development for senior executive audiences (Board, ELT, PII SLT, Investors/Rating Agencies)
Support decision making and problem solving based on analytics and conceptual framing
Thought Leadership & Advisory
Support the PII SLT with strategic thinking, data analysis and frameworks for ongoing management of key business decisions; Frame and analyze complex problems
Asses areas of opportunity in line with overall vision and strategy
Develop pragmatic solutions to key strategic and operational issues
Present recommendations to senior leadership and play a key role in informing and influencing senior management decision making
Support additional team responsibilities with respect to macro trends research, competitive intelligence and investors reports
Project Leadership
Lead execution of key enterprise initiatives by forming collaborative partnership with colleagues in the business and functions
Approach projects holistically with end-to-end delivery solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred
7+ years with relevant experience in corporate strategy or management consulting roles in the Financial Services or Insurance industry
Excellent analytic skills and pragmatic problem solving capabilities
Strong communications (both written and verbal) and influencing capabilities with a robust strategy and change management toolkit; passion to effect change across the organization including senior levels
Successful track record of leading projects and teams, with a demonstrated ability to flex between strategy and tactic
Excellent data management and Microsoft suite skill set
