The Strategic Planning Manager is responsible for planning and controlling organizational alignment, execution, adaptation and performance of corporate strategic plans and Line of Business plans, to ensure the achievement of strategic goals and objectives of the Bank


Leads and controls the analysis of the bank's current and future strategic focus for the planning meetings.

  • Designs and proposes Strategic Maps and BSC for the bank, to ensure the alignment of the organization with the business strategy for medium and long term.
  • Controls alignment and execution of strategic plans, and its performance. Leads the modeling, construction and monitoring of the financial models that support strategic plans of the bank, prioritizing according to strategic focus and value added to shareholders.
  • Designs and controls the generation of business cases to fulfill investment/expenses requirements by Line of Business and later performance follow up. Contributes towards formulation of strategy, annual business plans, policies and procedures of department, to support divisional and organizational business strategy.Ensures that the Strategy & Planning processes within the bank are operating effectively and efficiently toward achieving high operating standards. Independently undertakes several key strategy projects, ensuring they are in line with the master plan / roadmap. Partners with LOBs to collate drivers for current footprint and plans; work with them on proactive planning. Works with LOB representatives to capture emerging business and other developments areas. Works with LOB to ensure timely and accurate presentations, analytics and reporting that support transparency of the project plans.


MBA degree in operations and strategy or equivalent practical experience.

6 to 10 years' experience in a management consulting, corporate strategy role, in financial industry. Experience in managing the strategic planning cycle for a large organization with strong cross-functional engagement and prioritization. Experience supporting strategic initiatives / projects, and implementing successful strategies.

A background in financial analysis, consulting, project management, location strategy, real estate, operations is preferred. Experience working with senior management in strategy development and value creation in a Corporate environment. Excellent academic and performance evaluations track record. Leads and facilitates interdepartmental coordination. In depth understanding of Financial reporting and Regulatory reporting. Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
