The Global Technology Strategy, Innovation and Partnerships team drives technology strategy and enables innovation across the firm while ensuring that technology and business teams are meaningfully connected to the broader technology ecosystem, including strategic technology vendors, emerging technology companies (startups) and venture capital firms, with the goal of fostering best-in-class partnerships and the adoption of emerging technology.

We are seeking an individual to help support the following:
  • Author Reports and Presentations: Drive creation of C-Level and senior stakeholder presentations, talking points, status updates, and key reports that provide technology insight and keep senior leadership apprised of key updates
  • Assist with JPMC Global Technology Strategy: Help synthesize the firmwide view on technology strategy across key innovation areas (cloud infrastructure, next generation development, fintech, digital customer and employee experience, cybersecurity, analytics and machine learning) and create technology strategy deliverables for the firm's executive and technology leadership teams
  • Facilitate Strategic Partnership Development: In conjunction with other team members, work closely with the firm's strategic technology vendors as well as emerging technology vendors and the venture capital community. This helps to drive value for the firm by maximizing our influence with these partners on behalf of Global Technology and the firm
  • Provide support for Business Development: Work closely with JPMC's client facing businesses such as Technology Investment Banking teams and Equity Sales teams to provide clients with access to the firm's expertise, perspectives and thought leadership on technology trends to differentiate the firm for purposes of business development. Partner with the Strategic Investments team on private company investments which strategically align to JPMC's technology initiatives.
  • Execute against Client and Internal Event Management: Support various high profile client events including the J.P. Morgan Technology Innovation Symposium, Strategic Partner Summit, Technology Innovation Forum, and others. This individual will help facilitate and coordinate these events that GT participates, that senior leaders are prepared to high value engagements.
Successful Candidates will differentiate themselves by demonstrating the following attributes
  • 4 years of work experience including strategy, business and landscape analysis, and creating management presentations and reports
  • Strong passion for technology and staying abreast of industry trends
  • Must be able to multi task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with excellent business results
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and comfortable in presenting concepts and ideas clearly
  • Strong facilitation, process and influence skills
  • Execution-oriented, and able to complete tasks independently
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • PowerPoint and Excel fluency
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the organization including senior executives
  • Able to think "outside of the box," generate new ideas, and disrupt to improve existing processes
  • Work experience in technology is valuable
  • Understanding of the technology marketplace, vendor and venture capital community is a plus
  • Passion for and experience with event management is a plus
