SUMMARYWork with Sr. Manager of Used Car Trading & Logistics to formulate a short and long term used car trading operational strategy for the company. This position is primarily responsible for the development, researching and handling of used car new projects that are included followed in the company's long-term business plan. Korean Bilingual is highly preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESAssist the supervisor's used car business strategical planning and miscellaneous report. Provide analysis, due diligence, recommendation, and support department on items related to the used car business.Complete strategic planning report for management by collaborating with related parties. The US and KR HQ related overall business operation reports i.e. monthly reports, KPIs, planning, Responsible for periodic (weekly, monthly, annual) reports and other various project-based requests Responsible for planning reports and various requests from the US and Korea HQ.Prepare forecasts as needed internally or requested by customers.Support operation for customer satisfaction including the US and Korea HQ regarding planning or improvementsDevelop and manage daily duties of direct reports; provide feedback and keep the team on task.Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new business with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials and goals with company objectives and limitsDevelop a project plan for new business opportunities in the long-term Business PlanProspect new customers to become more competitive in the market.Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.Other Duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Business, or combination of related education and work experienceOverall Related Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required within automotive industry, (including business development, preparation of business plan and goals), and preferred claims, warranties, financing associated with trading. Directly Related Experience: Working knowledge of the auto industry, familiar with DMV registration and process, and federal and local laws and regulations for selling autosExtensive knowledge and experience in used auto industryExcellent written and verbal communications skills requiredAbility to analyze business plans and financial data at a high levelIndividual must be able to logically and systematically work through problems, ability to lead and motivate the team members.PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management software for auto industry
