We are seeking a Strategic Implementation Consultant to focus on Analytics instrumentation. You will be the Adobe Analytics and Ensighten subject-matter-expert (SME) on our Technical Product Management team. You will gather business requirements, define analytics tagging needs, guide developers on code-level technical implementation, and assist with verification testing for product releases. For new research KPIs, you will define best approaches on what data to capture, how to capture (back-end CMS vs. front-end Javascript), and advise on data processing. Hands-on coding using HTML and JavaScript is a needed skill to manage the Ensighten data layer to capture, normalize, and track page elements and specific user behaviors (button clicks, scrolls, etc). You will also assist with Operational support for critical analytics issues such as beacon call checks, missing or incorrect data, and data reporting discrepancies. What will you be doing? Define analytics data layer tags and capture functionality for Adobe Analytics, Ensighten, Nielsen, and ComScore for the website. Write technical requirements for developers for code implementation using Drupal CMS, PHP, JavascriptjQuery, HTML Maintain Solution Design Requirements (SDR) with detailed data capture specs for page views, user interactions, and video playback Write JavaScript code to capture, transform, and enrich data within the Ensighten data layer Define and apply data governance strategy on how data is collected across new product features and NBA season events Collaborate with Research, Sales, and Marketing teams to review analytics KPI needs, data trends, and data collection improvements Partner with Product Management to define how we measure page visits, user activity, and engagement during feature requirements phases Work closely with website developers to lead technical deep dives and validate implementation for analytics Lead problem triage and recommend fixes for critical issues with analytics issues (missing data, incorrect data, report discrepancies, etc.)
