Job description CAMCORP is seeking an experienced, cost-conscious, detail-oriented, and organized Procurement Sourcing Manager to oversee a newly established procurement function. We are looking for a product-savvy professional who preferably has experience in an air pollution control equipment manufacturing environment and who can institute innovative policies to save the company money and improve product quality. Responsibilities of the Procurement Sourcing Manager include but are not limited to: Create and implement regional procurement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services that are innovative and cost-effectiveLead transformational activities to build procurement organization capabilities and improve procurement efficiencyLiaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needsManage all aspects of the supply chain and notify senior management team of possible obstaclesMonitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery timesCreate and maintain positive long-term relationships with vendors/suppliersIdentify and research potential new suppliers, products and serviceMake professional decisions in a fast-paced environmentCompare contract/proposals for price and specifications; negotiate with vendors to reduce costsHave an in-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation termsCommunicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashionInstitute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce overall expenses while increasing productivityManage technological systems that track shipments, inventory and supply of materialsPerform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarksPrepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reportsKeep abreast of changing industry trendsDemonstrate ability to analyze problems and strategize for optimal solutions Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or similar field (MBA preferred)5+ years' experience in procurement or purchasing in a manufacturing environment, preferably manufacturing air pollution control equipmentExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAccurate and precise attention to detailTravel up to 50% as neededAbility to work well with management and staff at all levelsGoal-oriented, organized team playerOutstanding negotiation skillsProblem solver with a strong analytical mindsetProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)Multilingual preferred Benefits Full Time position with benefits including healthcare and 401K Competitive Salary
