Summary of Job: The Sr. Marketing Manager, Guest Acquisition will be responsible for driving guest acquisition through a guest-centered channel agnostic approach. This position will influence a cross functional team to define and execute against ROI-focused strategies to acquire new guests to Vail Resorts, Inc and ensure that learnings are adapted continually to keep programs running year-round for our guests. The Sr. Marketing Manager, Guest Acquisition position is intended for a high-performing individual who is analytical, data-driven, proactive, and resourceful, with a keen sense of business acumen and market strategy. S/he must be flexible to work in a fast-paced, highly interactive and innovative environment. Essential Job Responsibilities: ◾Own and lead acquisition and marketing campaigns that drive growth through a guest-centered channel-agnostic approach ◾Develop an understanding of the new guest journey and their lifecycle through both quantitative and qualitative analysis ◾Cross-collaborate with insights, analytics, channel and brand teams to build go-to-market strategies for new regions and locations ◾Work closely with the Director of Guest Acquisition to ensure proper messaging, timing and execution of marketing campaigns across channels ◾Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance with recommendations to continue to optimize new and existing channels cross functional teams ◾Identify gaps in our acquisition efforts and recommend experiments (A/B tests, landing page optimization) throughout the year ◾Bring the external world in: Leverage best practices, new ideas, and what works/doesn't work from leaders in and out of the industry ◾Build, mentor, and manage a team of high performing employees Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree. Degree in business or related field preferred; MBA or other advanced business learning or coursework preferred
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience including proven ability to successfully lead and oversee critical projects and multi-faceted efforts.
  • Experience with analyzing information and data to make decisions
  • Experience in being a self-starter and self-motivated efforts without the need for daily direction
  • Experience supporting and working with executives in a business environment
  • Proven track record for problem solving, showcasing success using different skill sets
  • Experience in leading and assessing high-potential talent
  • Technology advocate and highly proficient in MS Office applications Other Requirements:
