We are seeinging a Sr. IT Strategic Sourcing Specialist for our client in Parsippany, NJ for a 3 month contract. The primary purpose of this role is to support the development of our category strategy for IT by partnering closely with IT leaders to understand and define demand, current and future roadmaps and vendor partnerships. This position will assist the Manager, IT Procurement to ethically and professionally procure IT hardware, software, consulting skilled labor resource acquisition and services for the company while meeting the quality standards and specifications established at the best total cost of acquisition. Responsibilities The IT Strategic Sourcing Specialist will recommend and support the development of the IT procurement strategy, processes and procedures that are consistent with corporate policy, IT project requirements and sound commercial, legal and ethical practices. This position will lead and develop segments of ourT category strategy based on business and product needs, supply market dynamics, and technological changes within the marketplace. The function will partner with IT leadership to understand demand, current and future roadmaps and vendor partnerships. SHe may procure IT hardware, software, consultingskilled labor resource acquisition and other IT services while meeting the quality standards and specifications established at the best total cost of acquisition. The Specialist will utilize analytical expertise to deliver a comprehensive total cost of ownership strategy while assisting the business in delivering measurable cost savings while developing multi-year cost reduction and cost avoidance strategies. SHe will initiate and structure RFI s and RFP s and participate in or lead supplier negotiations while developing negotiation strategies based on supplier proposals and spend analytics. This role will manage supplier selection process and provide data and implement productivity initiatives, coordinate supplier management activities, and assist in the establishment of performance metrics to include KPIs, SLAs, and Terms and Conditions while establishing appropriate standards. This position will partner with IT to monitor invoices and financial transactions for price compliance to agreed upon rate cards, service credits, volume or rebates. This role will identify continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in IT, Finance, Economics, or Supply Management Minimum of 3 to 5 years of strong IT category and general procurement experience Experience in one or more of the following IT categories Hardware, Software, Asset Management, Application Development Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent math and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers Strong relationship management experience Experience leading all stages of a structured strategic sourcing process for IT spend Knowledge of Contract Fundamentals Strong analytical background Proficient in Microsoft and knowledge of Procurement tools Ability to interact with all levels of Management Master s Degree, CPM or similar certification is a plus Qualified candidates should submit a word formatted resume to cheryl.blumenbergharveynashusa.com.
