Senior Director of Digital Strategy Chicago, IL (by Orsquohare) Full time, Direct Hire Contact Mary at RESPONSIBILITIES Digital strategy development and execution Working with the technology leadership team and partner with the project management office, identify strong strategic opportunities to form the roadmap and vision for the team 9675 Scope the business opportunity, case, key relationships, and risks 9675 Explore innovation opportunities in partnership with other companies 9675 Define and execute on stakeholder engagement plan for key messages, program updates and key decisions Own and contribute to selected high-financial impact and complex initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the execution of initiative plansroadmaps 9675 Lead cross-discipline team meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as required 9675 Leads or participates in presentations to cross-functional leadsrsquo teams 9675 Anticipates and addresses potential issues or opportunities with the initiative 9675 Escalates critical issues and recommendations directly to senior leadership 9675 At initiative conclusion, works with stakeholders to examine the initiative's successes and areas for improvement Digital strategy portfolio development Develops and maintains a portfolio level view of all strategic digital initiatives 9675 Serves as a sounding board for senior leadership regarding initiative financial impact, status and key risksopportunities 9675 Provides consistent, frequent portfolio communication to senior leadership Lead relationship with partners for co-development, collaboration, and other joint opportunities 9675 Develop engagement plan, and lead relationship team in the exercise 9675 Drive financial analysis of the relationship including IP value, market opportunities, and additive impact on key business functions Leads digital portfolio planning, in collaboration with leadership, to direct resources to the initiatives with the greatest potential impact and likelihood of success 9675 In conjunction with the technology leadership team, helps track and direct concept development funding to focus on highest potential return Provides regular, exception-based reporting to senior leadership and facilitates executive leaderrsquos decision-making 9675 Leads discussions on removing roadblocks, fast-tracking decisions, and reallocating resources Required Skills Demonstrated people leadership and management skills with the ability to manage in a matrix environment Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), as well as the ability to interact and influence all levels of an organization Deep experience leading enterprise-wide strategic change transformations Ability to think strategically about complex stakeholder needs and translate them into simple interactions.
