Regulatory Strategy Analytics Associate - New York , New York, United States, 10261

Regulatory Strategy is seeking to add an Analyst (will also consider strong Associates) to its coreteam to assist the department with a variety of regulatory analytics andtechnology deliverables. This dynamic position provides opportunities forworking across the firm, including but not limited to working withLOBs/Functions, Oversight & Control, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Financeand Audit. Candidate will developexpertise on the firm's regulatory agenda as well as a big pictureunderstanding of how governance is rolled out and managed at a firmwide level.

  • Support end-to-end reporting &analytics needs with a wide variety of internal reporting on regulatoryengagement (e.g., regulatory issues (inc. MRA, consent orders), engagementswith regulators, meetings with regulators). This includes automating andstreamlining existing reporting on which draws from multiple source systems(CORE, ROSE) and manual trackers
  • Assist and drive innovation projectsto enhance reporting capabilities (i.e, working to build out suite ofreports/dashboard in Tableau; evaluate use of technology to automate datacapture to improve quality, etc.)
  • Support frequent reporting/analyticsrequests received from the Operating Committee level
  • Serve as a data subject matterexpert within the team
  • Identify trends/themes andsignificant matters for highlighting/escalation
  • Additional responsibilities insupport of the product owner team of the firm's regulatory engagement platform withthe development, user acceptance testing and roll out of technologyenhancements, in support of data analytics and user experience/workflow.
  • Requirementsgathering, including drafting mockups, writing user stories and acceptancecriteria
  • Assistwith maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog in JIRA for developmentand estimation
  • Responsiblefor assisting with all aspects of user acceptance testing process for thefirm's exam management system of record
  • Supportdevelopers with inquires
  • Participationin Agile process
  • Assist with other team deliverables

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal skills,working with technology team and business stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel(pivot; vlookup; macros) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamicenvironment
  • Proficiency managing and analyzingdata sets
