Job Description

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Responsibilities of the Public Sector Management Consulting Consultant may include:

Identify, assess and solve challenges facing our public sector clients, where analysis of situations and data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Interact with client and/or Accenture team members to collaboratively determine and then implement the methods and procedures most likely to produce effective solutions to these challenges.
Based on project needs, support the completion of key activities and client deliverables.
Understand and help execute the strategic direction set by Accenture senior management as it relates to Michigan Public Sector team goals.
This position is primarily intended to serve Public Service clients across the State of Michigan. Successful candidates will be expected to live within reasonable community distance of Lansing, Michigan.
Any costs for relocation to one of those locations, if necessary, will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.Frequent travel within the State of Michigan may be required, depending on actual client location or other business needs. Travel may be extensive/weekly.

Basic Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year of experience working directly for, or consulting to, public sector organizations i.e., government, nonprofit, or education.
A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in performing such tasks as strategic planning and development, operational improvement analysis and transformation, organizational analysis and change management, data analytics, customer constituent experience enhancement, or digital transformation.
Bachelor's Degree
