Public Sector Account Manager - Scottsdale , Arizona, United States, 85258

Employees in this position are responsible for achieving assigned sales quota and associated goals by working with clients, prospects, and partners to determine business needs for data center, cyber security and digital transformation initiatives and then, in conjunction with engineers, determine what solutions are needed to meet individual client's business objectives. The ideal candidate should have prior experience selling technology solutions in the public sector, preferrably in Arizona.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: • Engages with clients and prospects in strategic planning to understand their business needs and requirements. • Understands and learns technologies necessary to be able to effectively plan with clients and prospects. • Coordinates activities with engineers, insides sales, partners and others as needed to meet needs of clients. • Identifies potential new clients and new business opportunities with existing clients. • Manages relationships with existing clients. • Provides accurate and timely forecasts via CRM tools. • Provides quotes to clients for services and products needed. • Participates in marketing events and follows up on new opportunities to increase sales of assigned accounts and territories. • Participates in company sponsored meetings and events. • Other duties customary with an outside sales position as assigned by management.
