Capital Improvement IT Project Manager Job Duties Working under the governance of the DWM PMO and the direction of the Director of IT (Infrastructure), Attend Capital Improvement Project (CIP) kick off meetings. Identify, document, report, all IT components. Conduct, requirements gathering, scope creation, project planning, execution, tracking, provide documentation and closing. Ability to project manage multiple (3-5) medium to large IT Infrastructure Projects simultaneously Facilitates the collection of IT Infrastructure requirements, objectives and customer expectations, and clearly communicates this information to appropriate stakeholders. Defines requirements, and seeks approval for CIP related IT Infrastructure projects Assess the requirements of the project and create the appropriate project artifacts Identifying IT project objectives, scope, and budget utilizing AIM Policies and Standards Identify and manage all project resource needs Create WBS and project schedule Host project kickoff and weekly status meetings providing accurate status updates and challenges Manages project costing to include project cost estimates, forecasts, scheduling cost, and financial statements and reports as required Coordinates change controls to assure that all changes are managed appropriately Leads technicalnon-technical teams in the implementation of IT Infrastructure to include, cabling, connection, data ports and data switches, network distribution and access, IP cameras, etc. accomplishing all project related requirements on multiple small and medium size projects. Control project work accomplishments vs. scope of services contracted, assess progress vs. schedule and budget resolve conflicts or elevate conflicts to management level necessary for resolution. Prepares and executes Project Plans using cost, schedule, and performance objectives, resourcing, verification and validation and risk management Assist Capital Project Managers in the development and management of the IT Infrastructure implementation needs of large and complex CIP projects. Directs work of assigned team members. Directs the preparation of progress and special reports to AIM Stakeholders Ensures compliance with appropriate codes, standards, and regulations (including those for environmental work). Support common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS contract. It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as needed and in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications PMP certification highly desirable S.B.A. degree in an IT discipline from an accredited university and 8 to 10 years of progressive and relevant experience in technical field preferable Infrastructure or any combination of relevant education and progressive and relevant experience. A minimum of 7-10 years experience in IT Infrastructure Project Management Ability to plan, organize, lead and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to their successful conclusion. Ability to anticipate change and to adjust promptly and effectively.Command of Schedule, Scope, Budget, Quality and Benefits throughout the life cycle of a project Actively manage project risksissues before they have project impact Knowledge of the several of following helpful MS Office, Offfice365, Excellent analytical and observation skills Ability to keep up with latest developments in the field and upgrade IT infrastructure Excellent communication and negotiation skills Excellent planning and organization abilityExcellent time management skills and understanding the value of a baseline Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent management and leadership qualities This is not a technical hands-on role.
