Position OverviewThe Career Transition Service (CTS) Practice Leader is responsible for delivering high quality career transition services to AJO's clients and their impacted employees. The position involves managing client and candidate relationships with a high degree of professionalism and responsiveness, as well as leading a team of 10-12 Career Coaches.
Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: · As the Subject Matter Expert, support AJO's sales and prospecting efforts by meeting with clients as needed. Lead client discussions to understand needs and define options. Actively listen; ask good questions, and respond collaboratively to client needs with ideas, options and overviews of AJO's capabilities. Propose recommendations for services that offer the best advantage for clients and their exiting employees. · Coordinate with Marketing to prepare CTS presentations, proposals, program information and materials. · Custom design program configurations for clients (e.g., large projects), as necessary. Client Relationship Management· Respond to service requests in a timely manner and provide clients with up to date information and requested support, including on-site presentations to impacted employees and notification support. · Manage client relationship with a high degree of responsiveness, providing reports on progress, while observing confidentiality requirements. · Develop and maintain and strengthen client relationships through calls, meetings, luncheons, etc. Understand and look for opportunities to cross sell AJO's services.
Candidate Engagement and Relationship Management: · Manage outreach to exiting employee within 24-48 hour timeframe once assigned to AJO.· Achieve the highest possible candidate engagement rates by equipping candidates with timely information on AJO's capabilities. Implement initiatives that can increase engagement. · Understand prospective candidate needs, explain how AJO can support those needs, and allocate a Career Coach who is the best fit. · Ensure quality of delivery and candidate satisfaction, by monitoring service delivery and proactively responding to candidate feedback. · Continue to communicate to candidates on behalf of AJO, the commitment to support their needs.· Collect feedback/input along the way, as well as at the end of the services. Program Design and Quality: · Manage the design and delivery of Career Transition Services, ensuring Sales, Marketing and Delivery teams are briefed on program enhancements and outcomes. · Monitor quality and implement changes to ensure high quality and program improvements. Develop/create various options to enhance service offerings.· Maintain knowledge of Career Transition, job search trends and hiring innovations, including technology's impact on hiring and job search. Awareness of market tools available to enhance delivery of services for candidates.· Assess and measure programs to evaluate success and ensure they are relevant and are meeting candidate needs. · Review and recommend updates to capabilities, including print and online collateral materials, to ensure AJO's service offerings are current and attractive to the market. Staffing and Management· Staff, train, and oversee all CTS assignments and projects, ensuring AJO has the necessary mix of experience, skills, and subject matter expertise. · Provide guidance and mentorship to all AJO coaches, creating opportunities for coaches to further develop their knowledge and skills.
