Title: Organizational Change Manager, Technology

Location: Playa Vista, CA

Type: 06+ Months contract (Long Term- Extendable)

Job Description:

The Change Manager will be responsible for executing on a change strategy and its associated activities, ultimately helping employees transition to a new way of working (via new technology and processes). This position will act as a change workstream lead on a technology project, responsible for ensuring all change activities (e.g., sponsorship, communications, training) are completed and aligned to support the launch of a new system. This person will be very hands-on with identifying a training curriculum, creation of materials, scheduling and facilitating sessions.

The Change Manager will work with the technology Project Team as well as the Change Management Advisor to ensure execution of all deliverables. The West Coast Technology team builds and supports the applications that enable our business teams to run. Some of the teams we support include: Programming, Ad Sales, Traffic, Production, Marketing, Legal, etc.

Responsibilities:

The Change Manager is expected to perform the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Own and manage the change management plan and activities; track to key dates and milestones aligned with overall Project timeline
  • Drive the creation and delivery of executive communications, including emails, talking points, and presentations incorporating key messages
  • Document changes at various levels (macro, process, role-based) to feed communications and training activities
  • Develop training strategy and own all training activities, including needs assessment, creation of materials, scheduling, and facilitation of sessions
  • Support the selection of a Change Ambassador network; host regular check-ins to keep this group informed
  • Work directly with senior leadership and business stakeholders to prepare for change
  • Create weekly status reports, documenting accomplishments and risks
  • Collaborate regularly with technology Project team to drive towards successful system launch and adoption

Required skills and experience:

  • Must have 5+ years experience:
  • Working on change management projects, preferably in a technology environment undergoing large-scale changes
  • Working on training programs, including developing training curriculum, creating materials, and facilitating sessions
  • Creating and delivering executive communications
  • Creating polished presentations for executive stakeholders
  • Must have strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Must possess knowledge change management best practices
  • Must possess knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA
  • Prosci change management certified a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies a plus
