Oracle Primavera Technology Consulting Business Line Lead - Portland, Maine, United States, 04101

1898 & Co. is seeking an energetic, accomplished, servant leader with demonstrated success developing innovative solutions for clients in the Oracle Primavera technology space. The Business Line Leader role is the visionary behind our Oracle Primavera Technology Consulting business line. The Business Line Leader is responsible for identifying industry trends, go-to-market strategies for new offerings, identifying new business opportunities, establishing and meeting sales and profitability targets, continuously improving existing offerings, and leading the pursuit process for major opportunities. This position is both an indirect people leadership role as well as a client-facing, subject matter expert in their field.
Job Duties
Collaborate internally with other Company business lines, business units, and regional offices, with an external focus to maximize existing client opportunities and develop new clients
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations
Provide thought leadership through articles, blog posting, conference presentations, etc.
Develop annual strategic, financial, and marketing business line goals in conjunction with department leadership
Work with department leadership to identify the training needed for staff who support the Business Line
Work with department leadership to set expectations and goals for staff who support the Business Line
Collaborate with department leadership to assess staff performance
Manage relationship with Oracle associated with the business line
Develop and maintain strong subcontractor relationship
Strong technical subject matter expertise with Oracle Primavera software
Ability to focus on the big picture to effectively and efficiently provide services that meet client needs, while also having the ability to identify and analyze details that are critical to project oCompanyomes
Willingness to learn new service offerings as client needs and the market require change to the service offerings provided by the business line
Willingness to develop a broad set of service offering types
Willingness to cross sell other services offered by Company
Willingness to negotiate with clients for new service agreements
Proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams/groups
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients

Proven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients
Must be able to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change
Able to evaluate current industry trends and project future opportunities to grow the business line
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Business or another related field from an accredited curriculum; MBA or plan to achieve preferred
7 years of related professional experience.
Responsibility for profit and loss, indirect people management in a project manager role, and experience providing consulting services strongly preferred.
Past and current participation in industry groups
Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contracts on project-related matters.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Professional Registration/industry certifications strongly preferred.
