Job Description

The NFL Media Group is seeking a Strategy & Business Development + Operations Manager who will be responsible for supporting key partnerships, content and distribution opportunities across the NFL's media strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad range of traditional and digital media channels in helping facilitate operational transition from deal execution to product implementation and ongoing work. This role requires an individual who can combine a solid understanding of the overall media and digital media space with a comprehensive foundation in business analysis and product operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate and manage strategic relationships with content and technology partners to generate revenue, grow traffic and/or strengthen corporate brand
  • Identify new strategic opportunities for growth; Effectively diligence, analyze and communicate these opportunities to senior management in a concise, polished format
  • Conduct industry and company analysis, including market research, financial statement analysis and building and maintaining financial and operational models
  • Support senior management in overall media strategy initiatives, including creation of comprehensive and cohesive presentations for senior-level review
  • Actively develop internal and external relationships to help advance group and overall League initiatives
  • Have a basic understanding of product operations in the media landscape (e.g., digital applications such as website and apps, live streaming and VOD content access across connective devices) with the ability to help facilitate implementation of product requirements post deal execution
  • Expected travel to Los Angeles ~1 week every two months
  • Collaborate across various different groups within and outside of media including product development, analytics and research
  • Client management and servicing


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Candidates able to show experience and understanding in overall media landscape (television, online, wireless, etc.) and related trends as well as basic knowledge of product operations
  • An ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail while thinking strategically
  • Effectively communicate project status and properly manage to deadlines
  • Preferred 2 -- 5 years related professional experience within investment banking, consulting, media, or technology
  • An experienced business professional with strong entrepreneurial, management, writing, organizational, analytical and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of sports industry
  • Experience at negotiating commercial agreements
  • Bachelor's degree required
