Position Summary: Play an integral role on the Leadership Team. Lead the teams and all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing strategies with regard to the corporate brand strategy, all marketing disciplines, corporate strategy development in partnership with the ARC Leadership Team, the product marketing and pricing function, sales lead generation, social media and the corporate website, internal and external event management, as well as internal and external corporate communications, public relations and media relations. ARC brand ambassador. Develop brand ambassadors throughout the organization. Achieve marketing targets with respect to brand recognition, familiarity and equity. Interact closely with the Leadership Team and the leadership of their respective teams such as Sales, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Product, etc. to deliver required materials and assets to ensure ARC delivers on the proof points inherent in the ARC brand promise. Lead the directors responsible for the hiring, educating and directing the day-to-day activities of the marketing, product marketing and pricing, corporate communications and corporate strategy functions. Manage the relationships of supporting agency partners engaged to deliver the execution of the company's brand strategy. Key Roles & Responsibilities: * Lead a multi-stakeholder team in the visioning, creation, and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy with a goal of building an even more forward looking and compelling brand position, corporate strategy and value proposition to ARC's agency and airline customers. Ensure all primary ARC stakeholders (including the board of directors, high-value customers, key partners and industry leaders) understand the ARC brand, corporate strategy and ARC's value to each respective stakeholders' organization's mission. * Support the development, facilitation and coordination of corporate strategic planning efforts in collaboration with the Leadership Team, which includes the recommendation of models and approaches, and the design and implementation of activities and meetings to ensure the development of a strong and compelling ARC corporate mission, vision and strategy and KBOs. Coordinate data collection and strategic message development. * Support work of Product Marketing and Pricing teams with Product and Sales teams to ensure profitable revenue growth/optimization and the delivery of compelling industry value that is well-understood by external stakeholders. * Create an institutional and system-wide marketing and corporate communications reporting function that can track, measure and analyze the performance of each element of the marketing and corporate communications plans. * Provide visionary and supportive leadership to bring together expert groups within ARC, to include Product, Sales and Account Management teams, to create a cohesive and collaborative organization aligned around key organizational goals. * Develop and execute a cohesive and fully integrated annual marketing plan which supports the strategic direction of the organization and includes but is not limited to: corporate communications, events, product marketing, social media plan, web, as well as those strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve the strategic goals associated with each area. * Provide leadership to the marketing, product marketing and pricing, corporate communications and corporate strategy teams, encouraging professional growth, education, execution and empowerment to achieve their respective departmental responsibilities. Assess team members and evaluate capabilities to provide the needed skillsets and tactical disciplines necessary to carry out the overarching strategies of their functions. Skilled at acquiring and blending strong, dynamic talent in all marketing disciplines, corporate strategy, communications, pricing and analytics towards achieving ARC's goals. Business Expertise: Strong business acumen that cuts across functional lines, meaning, this role needs to understand the business of ARC and how ARC contributes to the industry in all areas. Strong knowledge of profit and loss statements; responsible for partnering with Product teams with the ability to make tough decisions if necessary regarding forecast or revenue shortfalls and prioritization of initiatives to deliver optimal results with given resources. Strong leadership presence both internally and externally showing a command of ARC's goals and objectives. Well educated on all of ARC's products and systems in order to move ARC's mission forward in all key customer environments. Quick learner in a complex industry on trends and outside influencers that may impact ARC's goals and the ability to adjust the strategy because of those factors. Skills & Abilities: * Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred * At least 10+ years of marketing leadership experience including demonstrated success building compelling brands, preferably in the technology / hi-tech industries * Experience developing high level marketing and brand strategy in line with the strategic vision of the organization * Experience developing corporate strategy in collaboration with executives; proven expertise integrating and communicating strategy both internally and externally * Proven ability to lead transformational change within an organization and to improve marketing's contribution internally and externally * Up-to-date knowledge and a commitment to continued learning about branding, strategy development, event marketing, paid media, social media, content marketing, thought leadership, and other core marketing tools and concepts * Visionary and supportive leadership and staff management skills, with the ability to bring out high performance and encourage staff to embrace "big and bold" thinking * Skilled communicator who can translate marketing concepts into terms for all stakeholders to grasp and support * Strong analytical skills, with a sophisticated understanding of how key business drivers, sector and consumer trends, and the competitive landscape impact marketing strategy and decisions * Ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company objectives
