Western Reserve Partners, a Citizens Bank company, is seeking an experienced Managing Director - Advisory to join our team. The Managing Director - Advisory role is responsible for relationship management / client coverage, transaction structuring and execution, as well as general corporate finance activities (e.g., advisory, refinancings, valuations) across more than one industry (e.g., capital goods and consumer). The incumbent is responsible for generating $2.0 M in annual production. This individual is the primary contact with major corporate and institutional clients and serves their overall investment banking needs. May be involved in structuring all types of transactions / financings for these clients or may work in conjunction with specialized staff. This Managing Partner plays an integral role in Citizens' efforts in corporate finance origination, strategically developing, supervising, and driving Citizens' M&A execution practice and developing transactions for middle market and mid-corporate client relationships. This group leader also helps to build the visibility and thought leadership of the corporate finance practice both internally and externally. * Handle all aspects of client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions and has primary responsibility for developing, maintaining and generating revenue. * Work with relationship bankers, corporate finance industry sector bankers and product specialists on transaction development. * Work with clients on idea generation and transaction development complementary with corporate growth strategies. * Coordinate referral partner activities. * Liaise with risk management to ensure that appropriate credit and market risks are identified and addressed. * 10+ years Commercial/Investment banking/Capital markets experience * Fluency in Corporate Finance: Capital Structure optimization and alternatives, Capital Markets funding sources, maximizing Return on Investment. * Fluency in M&A Execution: Valuation Techniques (going concern valuation, securities valuation, asset valuation); Buy-side and Sell-side processes; Fairness Opinions; knowledge of legal, accounting, tax and regulatory matters relevant to M&A. * Equity Capital Markets competency. * Demonstrated burning desire to succeed and drive business. * Effective communications and influencing skills. * Strong credit acumen and superior market risk knowledge., * Bachelors Degree required * Masters Degree/MBA strongly preferred. * Securities Licensing required Location Boston, Massachusetts Job ID/ Req.
