Manager, Benefits Engagement & Well-being Strategy

Capital One is seeking a Manager, Benefits Engagement & Well-being Strategy. This a key role on the Benefits Team, reporting to the Head of Health & Welfare Benefits will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission of delivering Total Rewards that attract the best people to join and stay with Capital One and empower them to live their best lives. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and work closely with peers and the Benefits Leadership Team to develop a well-being strategy that delivers benefits programs to associate through a seamless and personalized experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a Total Well-Being strategy and design and implement lifestyle management programming through a variety of marketing, communications and other engagement strategies; some will be in partnership with other benefits program owners

  • Drive a culture of well-being that empowers our associates to live their best lives and supports them in their physical, emotional, financial and social well-being

  • Develop diverse and effective delivery strategies to engage our associates in the benefit programs that are right for them powered by data and technology

  • Act as product owner for the vendor delivered engagement technology solution, including defining product roadmap and expanding functionality to meet the business needs

  • Analyze benefit program metrics to evaluate portfolio return on investment and make improvements based on what is working and the organization's strategic imperatives

  • Collaborate with Benefits Leadership Team to develop a well-being strategy that spans social, physical, financial and emotional health, and connects to the company mission, vision and values

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in benefits, wellness strategy, behavior change strategy or marketing

  • At least 2 years of experience working within a matrixed environment

  • At least 2 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving capabilities

  • Strong ability to tell a story with data

  • Experience as a Product Owner driving business intent for an integrated technology solution and ecosystem

  • Experience leading complex projects with focus on execution and ability to work through ambiguity

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Work experience in a Design Thinking/User Experience/Agile

  • Strong skills in consensus building, influencing, teamwork and collaboration
