Head of Fraud Strategy - San Francisco , California, United States, 94199

A large scale FinTech company in seeking to add a Head of Fraud Analytics & Strategy to their leadership team! The role will be responsible for developing their fraud strategies, policies, and analytical tools across all of their offerings including personal loans, cards, and auto. You will have a team of direct reports and will be reporting to the CRO. This firm has a few thousand employees, is already profitable, has gone through multiple rounds of funding and is at the pre-IPO stage.


  • Develop and implement the entire Fraud program for the firm, across all product offerings and all digital and mobile channels

  • Devise strategies, policies, and procedures to reduce fraud losses

  • Leverage technology and analytical tools to develop fraud rules and improve fraud detection

  • Communicate with C-level stakeholders on a frequent basis regarding ways to improve the fraud and risk profile of the firm

  • Manage and mentor a team by providing hands on coaching and being an example for others


  • 8+ years of experience within a Fraud related function

  • Direct experience building Fraud strategies and owning fraud losses within the business

  • Experiences with consumer lending products such as personal loans, auto, or card

  • Experience using quantitative or analytics tools to derive business insights

  • Ability to be a leader and influence others while also being collaborative
