The Global Technology Strategy, Innovation and Partnerships team drives technology strategy and enables innovation across the firm while ensuring that technology and business teams are meaningfully connected to the broader technology ecosystem, including strategic technology vendors, emerging technology companies (startups) and venture capital/private equity firms, with the goal of fostering best-in-class partnerships and the adoption of cutting-edge technology that advances JPMorgan Chase's innovation agenda.

We are seeking a multi-dimensional leader to drive enhanced productivity and effectiveness across the Tech Strategy & Partnerships (TechSP) organization, which is comprised of Key Innovation Area (KIA) Coverage (Cloud & Infrastructure, Modern Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics), Intellectual Property, Innovation Products & Engineering, and Future Lab of Applied Research & Engineering (FLARE) teams. Primary responsibilities include:

Work hand-in-hand with the head of TechSP and the broader team to define the organization's priorities, success metrics, talent and development needs, and ways of working
Manage 8-10 person Coverage Support team and support individual development needs via Matrix mentorship model
Curate and lead team sessions (staff meetings, learning & development sessions, quarterly team offsites)
Build and oversee the development of strategic content to be delivered to the Operating Committee, Global Technology Leadership, Chief Information Officers, and other senior stakeholders
Drive engagement and gain connectivity to all elements of the Global Technology Vision and assist in the advancement of coordinated firmwide strategies, with new innovations rapidly evaluated, piloted and then scaled where appropriate
Identify and execute on ways to drive increased awareness of JPMC's innovation agenda and TechSP's internal and external Innovation events (eg internal: JPMC Innovation Week, Innovation Days, Technology Innovation Forum (TIF); eg external: Strategic Partners Summit (SPS), Technology Innovation Symposium (TIS); Enterprise Technology Forum (ETF), etc.)
Act as the glue to streamline communications and effectiveness with partner functions (Chief Operating Office, Communications, Finance & Business Management, Strategic Investments and other Front Office business development partner teams, etc.)
Overseeing and streamlining TechSP's contributions to firm-wide requests and team communications and reporting (Investor Relations inquiries, OCC/FRB and other Regulatory requests, Executive Management Reporting (EMR), Emerging Technology Pipeline (ETP)/GetItNow pilot tracking, TechSP monthly strategy updates)

Qualifications

10+ years of business and/or technology strategy experience
5+ years of managerial and operational experience, managing complex senior stakeholder relationships and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making; provides oversight and guidance to team projects of highest priority and importance
Able to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other senior stakeholders. Excellent technical and business presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills
Possesses a strong passion for technology and staying abreast of industry trends
Brings a seasoned track record of driving strategy, partnerships, innovation, and/or business development
Carries strong executive presence, exhibiting strong facilitation, process and influencing skills with a proven entrepreneurial style
