Summary:The Group Director of Fashion Retail Operations, Strategy will support the Head of Operations to ensure the priorities of individual work streams on the Retail Operations teams all uphold the company priorities of driving efficiency, elevating client experience and supporting the evolving distribution model for US Fashion Retail boutiques and lease doors.Position Responsibilities:Provide strong support to the Head of Operations* Oversee day-to-day challenges of each work-stream and update Head as necessary* Streamline internal communication within the Retail Operations team and be conduit for information and priorities from Head to the team to ensure all dots are being connected across the work-stream* Streamline follow up and prioritization of projects and output by the individual work-streams* Continue development of direct reports to ensure ongoing learning and growthOversee and support Boutique Services Team* Support the teams in charge of projecting orders and managing the budget and finding opportunities to maximize all non-sellables. It also involves looking at existing assortment and evolving as necessary to meet business needs and improving existing ways of order fulfillment to facilitate a seamless experience for our boutiques.* Management of standards training and roll-out of any new non-sellable item. It would oversee the team member who would project manage and be main point of contact for all internal departments as well as Paris partners. It would be an overall support for boutique training and ensure compliance to all standards* Support in executing all home office and boutique employee sale events. This includes improving and elevating the execution and communication of sale events as well as overseeing and maintaining fiscally responsible stock levels, supporting inventory and partnering with warehouse to ensure proper organization of the stock* Oversee boutique renovations/openings lay out and logistics planning as well as all boutique back of house Improvements, provide recommendations to Head of Retail Operations on planning. This includes overseeing creating standards and tools to support product care and organization* Operations liaison to our partners in R and APOversee and support Inventory Control & Analytics Team Member* Define inventory movement with the Boutique Services team member and partnering closely with Merchandising and Strategy on launches and pullbacks* Supports work-stream in continuing to develop and making more efficient existing processes of inventory movement, oversight of damages, adjustments, charge-backs, etc.* Oversees training to/evolving inventory/cycle count expectations and planning to ensure all boutiques see improvement in shrinkOversee and support Policy & Procedures Team Member* Define boutique support and communication procedures in partnership with the Regionals and Head of Retail Operations* Oversee edit of existing policies and procedures to ensure relevancy in today's business landscape across divisions and departments, that they're client-centric and easily accessible for our boutique teams* Support the work-stream in transformation of the SOP website and evolving the tools we equip our teams with to access important information* Complete the ongoing project of finalizing the Retail Operations handbook book for our boutiques and for home office business continuityBe a strong partner for Technology/Innovation Group Director & Regional Group* Create operational KPI dashboard* Consult and strategizing on projects, rollout, key initiatives etc.* Approach all aspects of the role with an evolution, CSR and cost-conscious mindset to continue to elevate existing processes, ensure we are relevant to current business needs and be more operationally efficient* Facilitate regular team communication sessions to ensure seamless communication on projects* Create strong partnership with Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain, Planning, Merchandising, Regionals. R, APPosition Requirements:* Minimum education: Bachelor's degree required* Minimum Years of Experience: 7+ years in a retail operations related role with deep understanding of the boutique environment* Strong analytical thinking and systemic skills* Expertise in Excel* Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills with a multitude of audiences/contexts (Store/Corporate)* Service mentality and mindset with proven ability to create and foster cross-functional relationships* Innate curiosity, intuition, authenticity and self-awareness* Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment; proven track record in optimizing efficiency and streamlining reporting/processes* Energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about retail and product with a strong aesthetic understanding and demonstrated taste level* Proactive, agile, and resilient - ability to thrive in complexity and comfortable with ambiguity
