Overview
Bio-Rad, a leader in life science research and clinical diagnostic tools, has an immediate opening for a Global Supply Chain HR Manager. If you have 10+ years HR supervisory experience, experience working in a union environment, and experience working on HR global projects, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director Global Human Resources Global Supply Chain (GSC), the Global Supply Chain HR Manager will influence the line leaders in the effective deployment and utilization of human capital and align HR priorities with the business. This position provides direction, advice, and support to cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to improve operational efficiency and aligning HR effectiveness when working with teams.

? Act as an HR strategist for the group supported by understanding the business strategy and crafting relevant solutions to meet business needs.
? Serves as an active member of the business unit leadership team(s).
? Lead the effective implementation of HR plans and initiatives across assigned client groups to ensure achievement of objectives.
? Coach leaders and leadership team(s) to drive business objectives.
? Lead change by developing and implementing a structured approach to change enabling the organization to be change agile.
? Identify, analyze and implement resolutions to complex and highly sensitive employee relations issues.
? Consult and influence leadership teams regarding critical and complex employee relations decisions, e.g., performance management, harassment, business conduct, terminations, and HR policies, guidelines and practices.
? Serve on committees, task forces and/or work groups related to programs, initiatives, or projects sponsored at the GSC HR group or Bio-Rad HR group.

Qualifications
? Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related business field.
? 10 + years experience in a human resources supervisory position.
? Experience working in a union environment.
? Demonstrated ability to determine the key business issues facing the organization and develop appropriate action plans from multidisciplinary and HR perspective.
? Experience working with a global and/or matrixed organization.
? Well-developed team building and influencing skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address sensitive HR issues.
? Ability to effectively coach leaders, build relationships and leverage resources within the group supported.
? Knowledge in change management, organizational design, talent and performance management.
? Ability to travel 10% of the time.
