Global Supply Chain Director - Quakertown , Pennsylvania, United States, 18951

This role is for a Global Supply Chain Director who canput a structure in place, identify the weaknesses, implement new processes BUT is also a roll-up-the-sleeve's, build, coordinate, collaborate and execute. Will drive Lean and Operations Excellence throughout multiple manufacturing plants.
This is truly an opportunity to implement strategic planning and execute a global supply chain strategy - including launch into new regions/countries.
Will report to COO, work closely with department heads at headquarters. Manage team of Supply Chain Managers and staff.
Ideally will have experience in manufacturing assembly operation and experience successfully improving complex supply chain operation - sourcing, planning, procurement, inventory control, distribution.
Summary
Oversee strategic planning and develop a global sourcing strategy - including launch of new manufacturing or distribution operations in new regions/countries .
This is a strategic but also analytical role- identify the weaknesses, put the processes in place to effect change BUT it's also a roll-up-the-sleeve's, build, coordinate, collaborate and execute.
Will drive improvements to supply chain structure, interacting with Sales, Operations, Engineering teams.
Experience in project driven equipment or machinery assembly operations a big plus.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management or finance or business
  • Proven track record of multiple plants, global organization
  • Experience in strategic sourcing approaches
  • Developing a global sourcing strategy - including launch into new regions/countries
