We are looking for a Global Strategic Sourcing Operations Manager who wants to make their mark on a growing organization. This position will provide operational support and tailspend sourcing as part of the Strategic Sourcing team which manages multiple spend categories including Real Estate, Facilities, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Benefits, Recruiting and Travel & Events. The strategic sourcing team develops and drives regional and global strategies to improve the company's position in the market, negotiates savings, and clearly understands the requirements of the businesses they support.

The Strategic Sourcing Operations Analyst will source suppliers under a specific dollar threshold to support the Category Managers while leveraging various tools and following the preferred process. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the operational components for the Sourcing team, including reporting, supplier management of 3rd party tools, and supplier diversity.

Responsibilities:
* Engage with internal businesses to gather required data for sourcing projects or other initiatives
* Manage source to procure process in alignment with category strategies (including preparing RF(x) documents, conducting RF(x), analyzing supplier bid packages, and selecting suppliers)
* Recommend process improvements to create greater efficiencies
* Facilitate integration of select supplier information into relevant information systems
* Ensure functionality and accuracy of data content in the systems
* Support Contract Management activities
* Leverage departmental and corporate tools with a high degree of accuracy
* Support measurement tracking efforts
* Manage operational requirements (e.g., reporting, supplier management and/or supplier diversity) across the organization

Requirements:
* 4-year degree in business, finance, procurement, supply chain or related degree program required; Masters preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
* Data analytics (specifically Excel)
* Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills
* Strong financial acumen
* Have managed tail spend
* Implement process to improve things
* Able to change direction, agile, as things change in this role, moving form one assignment to another
* Processes and create better efficiencies
* 3 - 5 years' experience

$45-$50 Per Hour Salt Lake City, UT 84111 9 Month Assignment
