Footwear Standards Strategy Manager, NIKE COSTING, is a key role in developing and evolving the Nike Costing Framework (NCF). This role is fundamental to the development, refinement, and long-term view of new driver-based Standards used to cost product. This role will be responsible to lead, manage and implement changes to cost standards, developing the detailed mechanics, and partnering with internal stakeholders and Footwear Factory groups for implementation.


• Maintain and continuously improve existing standard methodologies and approach
• Make recommendations to further refine and evolve standards and framework as appropriate
• Create and maintain documentation on standards and link them to the long-term program strategy
• Identify gaps that need to be addressed to achieve a standard reliability in a dynamic business environment
• Work cross-functionally and across time zones to engage different groups within Product Creation, Engineering, Operations, Factory Partners and Finance to ensure standards are data-driven, documented and operational
• Lead the socialization and communications of new standards or change options and financial implications across a broad group of stakeholders
• Communicate with clarity the business case for recommended changes to to leadership
• Partner across working teams, including Transition Management, to roll out Nike Costing standards and updates to the business, Factory Partners, and support training events for impacted stakeholders
• Proactively contribute to Monitor & Review processes; Provide root cause analysis and scenario modeling
• Other ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned


• Bachelor's Degree in analytical field (Accounting, Finance, Engineering) an MBA or master's preferred
• Minimum of 7 years directly relevant work experience in manufacturing, product costing, strategic finance or relevant field
• Manufacturing industry experience in standard costing
• Excellent knowledge of costing, investment analysis, and strategic planning concepts
• High proficiency in problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills
• Leadership skills that model top executable behaviors: ensure operational capabilities, empower & involve, engage & develop and expect ownership and accountability
• Excellent ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience - translate engineering talk to business speak
• Significant project ownership experience and thorough influencing skills
• Footwear or product related experience highly preferred
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
