The Division Finance and Strategy Manager reports to the Division CFO with a strong dotted line to the Business Manager. This associate is a partner with Division, Business, and Manufacturing teams to reliably achieve financial performance goals of growth, profitability, and ROIC, for the short- and long-term insuring compliance with legal entity laws and company policies. This position is specifically expected to directly contribute to the identification and realization of profitable business growth through working with the Business Manager and business teams to accomplish strategic business plans designed to meet Business Financial targets. The position requires minimal travel.
Partners with the Business Manager and business leadership team to understand financial performance and levers which can be used to attain business financial targets. Understands business intimately and uses analysis to review past results and make forecasts for current and future years as well as recommendations of how to achieve strategic and financial success. Effectively communicates the results/findings of analysis to Business teams and Division for understanding and works with the appropriate teams in execution for success. Key leader in Strategy Development & Deployment business growth processes.
Financial Function - Works as a member of the Division Finance Team to execute period closing activities, annual forecasting cycle, and annual budgeting process. Business Finance Leader is owner of the business P&L performance and is expected to lead efforts to effectively manage and communicate performance to the Business team with recommendations on how to meet and exceed financial targets.
Corporate Financial Support - is expected to command an expert knowledge of GAAP as well as company policies and to ensure that adequate controls are in place to ensure compliance and minimization of risks to the business and company
BS degree in accounting or finance, MBA preferred.
8 plus year's related experience with a global manufacturing organization
Advanced software skills, SAP preferred
