The Director of System Integration (SI) will be expected to champion and lead PCG's SI service line. The SI Director must be knowledgeable and a practitioner in multiple aspects of system integration, architecting, system development lifecycle, and implementation services. There must be a solid working knowledge of how modern SI architecture is delivered on multi-million dollar, multi-year pubic-sector implementation projects.
In addition to possessing technical acumen and expertise, the Director will be responsible for developing business through lead generation, pursuits and capture management activities. The Director will have overall responsibility with the continued development on the service line with the expectation of a consistently growing service to the market.
Lead and pursue SI opportunities in the national marketplace
Provide technical oversight, architecting, and guidance on SI projects
Support the client and stakeholders in the SI planning and strategy discussions on the best approach for addressing their business needs with modern technologies
Integrate applications, infrastructures, networks, hardware, and software into a seamless solution that meets program and stakeholder requirements
Identify partners and partnership opportunities
Build a growing book of SI business for several Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platforms as a Service (PaaS) products
Ten-plus years strong capture management and business development experience
Three-plus years extensive experience leading SI projects in the public sector on multiple platforms and environments
Consult with clients to understand business drivers, technology preference, and identify solutions
Demonstrated ability to design and document software solutions throughout the SI project lifecycle to include requirements, design, documentation, construction, testing conversion, data migration, implementation, and maintenance
Working knowledge of application integrations, services, internal and external APIs, file transfers, databases, and EDI/SQL processes
Knowledge of native cloud services and architectures (AWS/Azure/Google)
Experience with Hybrid cloud architecture (cloud/on-prem) and multi-cloud
Experience with iPaaS solutions (e.g. Boomi, MuleSoft, Apigee)
Experience with multiple web service architectures (SOAP, RESTful, GraphQL)
Knowledge of security architectures
Experience with particular enterprise tools, such as Customer Relationship Management (e.g., Salesforce), Human Capital Management (e.g., Workday), and ERP applications.
Thinking strategically about projects and taking a proactive approach to identify and mitigate risks
Looking at the environment (clients, partner agencies and vendors) holistically and understanding how the project will impact areas beyond the stated scope
Taking a collaborative approach and having mutual respect among the vendor teams
Leading teams with diverse skill sets in multiple locations, including offshore
Bringing experience with many types of technologies and delivering out-of-the-box thinking and creative problem-solving possibilities
