  • Participates in the development and implementation of a clear vision and strategy for Supply Chain Planning to build best-in-class planning capabilities to improve customer experience, costs, and inventory productivity.
  • Provide leadership for Responsibilities for this position include: all transformational projects that impact the global planning function at the company from Demand Steering to Master Data related initiatives.
  • Ensure robust tactics are in place coupled with planning and executional excellence so that objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Direct the adoption of LEAN principles and initiatives, including the training of the Planning function.
  • Ensure effective Project Management and manage contingency plans and risk factors.
  • Conduct contingency plans and trade-off analysis on all IT project go-lives and project implementations to minimize impact to business performance.
  • Partner with IT to develop IT solutions that drive business performance improvement as well as manage retirement plan for all boundary applications that are not part of the strategic footprint.
  • Partner with the Business Analytics team to ensure we have Scorecards and Dashboards, including Input, Process, and Output metrics for the global planning function.
  • Develop strategies for global planning that will help the company develop a competitive advantage in the market place, i.e. Demand Sensing, Machine Learning and AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and build positive and productive relationships with Business Units, customers, suppliers, and other functions to deliver top and bottom line results.
  • Develop Goals and Objectives for the Supply Chain Planning Strategy Team that support the business needs. Provide ongoing development, coaching and performance management to the team and ensure a high level of performance. Create the conditions that enable team members to succeed, learn, and enjoy their work.
  • Develops and leads portion of the World-wide Planning organization
  • Actively partners with and influences leadership across many cross-functional organizations, stakeholders and/or suppliers at the on a regular basis; manages complex 3rd party relationships.
  • Anticipates and pro-actively manages ongoing complex business challenges and changes stemming from shifting market conditions, strategies or linkages.
  • Drives multi-year strategies and initiatives at the regional/global/business group level by exercising significant governance oversight in multiple areas (e.g., key policy decisions, resolution of high impact issues, site selection, and new product introduction).
  • Has significant financial responsibility (e.g., budget of $10-$15 million+ USD).
  • Leads a team of Managers and Senior Individual Contributors for a business function and/or region by setting overall program initiatives, allocating financial and human capital for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of Supply Chain programs.
  • Responsible for performance management, talent management and succession planning, ensuring that the appropriate tools and processes are in place to support the team.
  • Leads and directly manages multiple functions and demonstrates broad impact through significant direct and dotted-line employee reporting relationships.
  • Applies broad and deep subject matter expertise to solve a variety of highly complex business issues.
  • Leads organization design.
  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Requires 10-15+ years of experience in supply chain planning/IBP/S&OP.
  • Requires experience in running their own team, either across planning disciplines to support a business unit or one discipline across multiple businesses/regions/global.
  • Prefer experience in multiple disciplines (e.g., manufacturing, planning, logistics, etc.).
  • Exceptional understanding of supply chain and procurement processes and strategy.
  • Advanced understanding of market place and industry business operations and standards.
  • Advanced ability to build forward-thinking partnerships with suppliers.
  • Advanced leadership skills, particularly in complex, international, and cross functional teams.
  • Advanced program management and prioritization skills.
  • Superior communication skills, catered to a wide variety of audiences; mastery in English and local language.
