We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Develop - with Content and Digital leaders - a strategy for social media channels and their role in reflecting the organization's future vision for enhanced business growth.
  • Continuously improve our social/digital channel mix to deliver the most value to digital marketing outcomes. Determine rationale and plan for new channels/platforms.
  • Lead development of social content and help maintain relationships with our social communities.
  • Exhibit company values in organizing how we serve customers through social channels, including finding new ways to serve more customers via social through automation and social listening (for example).
  • Work through compliance system to assure all social content is approved, tagged, and tracked in accordance with evolving industry regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a social media team member and work collaboratively with social media experts in various business units.
  • Anticipate crisis communications needs and support preparedness of corporate communications functions in social channels.
  • Over time, help drive executive and SME engagement strategies for social channels.
  • Lead the Social Influencer and Employee Advocacy programs.
  • Analyze and benchmark channel performance and present results to relevant organizational stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally to execute campaigns 360: Coordinate with content team to plan ad-hoc social posts and project requests from business units, PR, HR, etc.
  • Maintain and evolve the enterprise social media policy, standards, and training, collaborating with content and brand experts.
  • Evangelize and educate relevant teams on social channel innovations.

  • 10 plus years of digital marketing and social experience preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Passion for all things digital and social and an appetite for independent personal growth.
  • Staying on top of trends and innovations such as new social channels and changes in existing (e.g. Insta TV/Live or Facebook Ad targeting limitations).
  • A highly collaborative, cross-functional approach to success internally and with any external partners or agencies.
  • An understanding of B2B and B2B2C industries a plus.
  • Knowledge and respect for social requirements in highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrable experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with publishing and auditing tools such as Hootsuite
  • A sense of urgency and solution orientation.
  • A desire to be part of team helping drive culture change while preserving core values.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree, MBA, certifications in social, digital a plus.
