We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Lead the product strategy team, a cross functional team responsible for delivering the global brand strategy and preparing the organization to commercialize our products.
  • Sit on the molecule lifecycle team, a cross functional team responsible for developing and executing the molecule strategy.
  • Collaborate extensively across functions (i.e. clinical, manufacturing, market planning, market access, regulatory, patient advocacy and finance) and with the executive leadership team to provide key insights and shape strategy.
  • Coordinate and lead the development of a comprehensive, cross functional global brand plan.
  • Support business development in matters of product & market strategies for our portfolio of products.
  • Ensure commercial readiness and a successful launch by identifying and implementing patient-focused brand strategies and tactics based on market insights.
  • Provide guidance/collaborate to development a market access and pricing strategy that aligns with value proposition & financial targets.
  • Understand customers' insights to develop and execute a brand plan, including customer visits for deep comprehension.
  • Coordinate and guarantee resource allocation for the brand plan execution.
  • Coordinate the data generation to support value proposition.
  • Develop brand identity & positioning.
  • Ensure alignment between Brand Strategy and available product supply.
  • Coordinate the development of content for an integrated offering, including support programs.
  • Identifying key performance metrics to measure and manage success of plan at launch.
  • Effectively managing assigned budgets, internal agency and vendors.
  • Analyzing market data and proposing activities to optimize execution of plans.
  • Identify & communicate evolving needs for product optimization/rationalization.
  • Prior pharmaceutical/biotechnology launch experience in US and global markets; Sickle Cell Disease, rare disease, Hematology and Oncology therapeutic experiences are a plus.
  • 10-15 yrs. experience with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in the biopharmaceutical industry which may include strategic marketing, commercial strategy or brand management.
  • Required to have core knowledge about all product strategy topics such as markets, customer segmentation, payer systems and networks, consumer behavior, marketing strategy, market research, customer development etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate marketing strategy and influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to recognize competitive opportunities, develop the appropriate brand strategies and priorities and strategically position the product and competitive differentiation across all the regions.
  • Develop contingency plans necessary to meet changes in the business environment (e.g., regulatory changes, new competitors and interruptions in production/supply).
  • Required to have core knowledge about market access related subjects such as payer networks and MOH organizations, advertising, consumer behavior, marketing strategy, market research, KOL engagement, etc.
  • Knowledge of the project management process, regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to maintain focus on the various activities and to provide clear direction and coordination.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others across all functions and levels within and outside of the organization.
