Director, Marketing Strategy & Operations - New York , New York, United States, 10001
Director, Marketing Strategy and Operations, will contribute to the financial success of EYLEA® (aflibercept) Injection and will report to the Executive Director, Marketing. This person will the lead planning and execution of promotional activities across indications and drive operational excellence of marketing activities.
Manage marketing activities across indications including overall convention strategy and media planning.
Oversee cross-functional efforts to meet brand objectives including brand planning, data and analytics, performance reports, and budget management.
Act as primary point of contact for Joint Venture related discussions.
Identifies strategic market opportunities and makes recommendations to enhance market potential and brand penetration.
Brand lifecycle management; including preparation for launch of new potential indications.
Develop mid-long range planning for future market entrants.
Works with market access research to ensure appropriate understanding and implementation of the brand strategy.
Interfaces with team responsible for designing and implementing Regeneron's Ophthalmology product reimbursement program.
Provide strategic direction to the Market Research team for any needs of the brand. Assists in developing both Qual. And Quant. research studies.
Manage timelines and budgets in accordance with brand plan.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in marketing of biologics, in a buy and bill environment.
Experience in leading and developing long range brand plans, budgets and forecasts.
Experience managing congress and conference related marketing activities.
Understands US reimbursement environment including governmental programs -Medicare Part B.
Experience tracking and managing budgets with finance counterparts.
Strong interpersonal & presentation skills required.
Demonstrated ability to deal with all levels of the organization.
Must be willing to travel 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
The ideal candidate must have a minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in biologics marketing and brand strategy development and execution in the life sciences.
Biotechnology or small specialty pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred.
Pharmaceutical Sales experience preferred.
Ophthalmology (Retina), Oncology or Rheumatology experience preferred.
