Director Investor Relations / Media Relations: Black Diamond Therapeutics
is a next- wave cancer precision medicine company. Black Diamond pioneered the development of selective medicines for patients with genetically defined cancers driven by oncogenes activated by allosteric mutations. Using its mutation, allostery and pharmac ology (MAP) computational and discovery platform, Black Diamond is uncovering new ways to functionally assess the mutational landscape of individual oncogenes - to discover and validate new targets and develop novel approaches to creating highly selective therapeutics. Black Diamond has an immediate need for a Director Investor Relations/ Media Relations . Reporting to the CFO , the incumbent will oversee Black Diamond's Investor/ Media Relations. She/he will work to ensure the company is appropriately and str ategically positioned with analysts, investors and all stakeholders.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and ensure execution of key investor events and communications, including road shows, investor days, as well as developing investor- facing communicatio ns
Work with CFO and broader executive team to further develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive strategic plan for investor relations that helps ensure fair valuation of the company and understanding of the company story with both the sell- side and b uy- side
Help create and manage Investor Relations core materials including corporate presentations, conference call scripts, and press releases and website content
Help determine media relations strategy and coordinate engagements with extern al firm
Provide accurate, consistent and timely responses to all external inquiries from investors and analysts.
Track models and estimates made by analysts and Wall Street
Effectively manage relationships with PR firm and other vendors
Serve as a liaison for medi a inquiries
Develop and drive social and digital media strategies and tactics
Work collaboratively with clinical, scientific, and business functions on PR initiatives
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7- 10 years of experience in Investor / Public Relations in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated relationships with buy- side investors and sell-side analysts is a plus
Thorough knowledge of the financial regulatory and reporting environment for publicly- traded biotech companies. International experience is a plus
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
