Continuous Improvement Coordinator Heidtman Steel Products, Inc., a dynamic steel processing company, located in Granite City, IL, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to effectively plan, develop, and coordinate all plant-level continuous improvement activities. This person will proactively lead and support an organizational culture of Safety, Quality, Financial Performance, and Customer Satisfaction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identify and lead efforts to eliminate process inefficiencies. Coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation and enhancement of QMS/EMS systems and Lean Manufacturing. Spearhead teams and projects that pursue waste elimination. Lead/monitor continuous improvement events that focus on safety, housekeeping, quality, and productivity. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a BA in Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline, two years demonstrable experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean, Quality Management Systems and Six Sigma. Qualified candidates will also have well developed organizational, analytical, interpersonal, strong verbal and written communication skills and PC skills. The ideal candidate possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, and at least three to five (3-5) years of previous experience in an HR Generalist role in a manufacturing environment. Minimal travel required.
