Change Manager IV/Change Management Consultant - Chicago, Illinois, United States, 60642

We are seeking an experienced Change Management Consultant. The position is located in downtown Chicago and reports into the change management lead for IT. If you thrive in working across multiple teams, new technology, with an ability to influence business and technical leaders in a fast paced environment, have strong problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills, we want to talk with you. Specifically Conduct stakeholder interviews and create stakeholder buy-in plans with the team manage those plans to completion Complete end-to-end change impact assessments by coordinating with stakeholders across multiple departments Develop change intervention plans to address those impacts and facilitate the rollout manage those plans to completion Identify additional change challenges and create strategic plans to address them Drive communication efforts and provide day-to-day management of change action plans Drive meetings independently and build cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization Drive discussions and actions around user training Skills Executive presence and experience engaging with senior leaders Ability to generate results through influence versus direct reporting Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to create communications for executives, employees, and customers Ability to articulate key messages for a variety of audiences Excellent listening skills, ability to ask penetrating questions, detect underlying assumptions and resolve conflicts Self-directed able to identify and set priorities with minimal guidance rigorous commitment to following through on actions Flexible and adaptable able to work in ambiguous situations Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges A strong value system with impeccable integrity, enthusiasm and passion for continuous improvement Basic Requirements Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of change management experience Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts Experience working with IT departments and Agile team structures preferred Change Management certification or graduate degree in organizational psychology a plus
