The Change Consultant demonstrates a practical knowledge of Change Leadership methodologies and tools, and is part of a cross-departmental Team charged with implementing Business and Technology-driven initiatives. This includes (but not limited to) the ability to work effectively across the organization to develop and implement plans for vision and case for change, Leadership and stakeholder alignment, communication, businesschange impacts, and organizational development. This Change Consultant will support a Senior Change Consultant to engage Technology and the Business as their stakeholders are in the process of changing the way they plan, develop and deliver software solutions. This transformation will be across 10 + work groups, moving towards adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Work activities include Change Leadership Expertise - Conducts business impact and risk assessments to determine people, process, and technology impacts at the company, department, and job-specific levels and determine the best approach for addressing impacts and risks - Created and drives integrated Change Leadership plans that complement the transformational approach - Assesses the change impact (conducts impact analyses, assesses change readiness and identifies stakeholders). Supports identification and management of anticipated resistance. - Develops and executes coordinated, comprehensive communication plans to facilitate clear, consistent, and transparent internal and external messaging along all phases of the transformation through multiple communication channels - Executes implementation and post-implementation support strategies for affected stakeholders - Facilitates Organizational Development activities in partnership with the HR Team, including job role design and performance measures as needed - Provides guidance and assists in planning for transformation Team effectiveness, including Team structure design and capability transfer approach - Identifies and quantifies potential risks, monitors and manages them throughout the project Relationship Management Expertise - Builds and maintains alignment with multiple stakeholders across Southwest- Effectively partners with Customer to help them solve problems and achieve their goals - Earns respect as a trusted advisor both internally to Technology as well as with the Business, specifically with Leadership - Fosters Teamwork and collaboration amongst different departments and workgroups - Drives solutions within a Teamgroup without being a subject matter expert - Ability to influence change for stakeholders heshe does not directly manage Education Bachelor's degree required Experience - Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience - Must have a minimum of 3 years Change Leadership experience on enterprise-wide projects, solving complex problems and driving multiple stakeholders towards change adoption - Experience with large scale organizational change efforts (operating model changes preferred, ideally in a Technology environment) is required - Demonstrated experience utilizing change management principles, methodologies, and tools is required - Advanced level skills in PowerPoint required. Must be able to provide samples of work (at the face to face interview stage) produced from previous environments (can be edited for private information) - Experience supporting large scale Technology tool process role implementations across diversified stakeholder groups preferred. - Managing change in an Agile environment is preferred.
