Business Analyst IV, Supply Chain Analytics - Portland, Oregon, United States, 97201

As a Business Analyst focused on Supply Chain Analytics you will work in collaboration with other business analysts. Here you'll gather business and system requirements, document processes, perform functional unit testing and user acceptance testing. You'll also have the opportunity to take on training and the management of small to medium sized projects. To succeed in this role, you should have an aptitude for analytical thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.


  • Perform requirements analysis on business requests, documenting the results
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements through collaboration with business and GIS partners
  • Production Support of current systems as scheduled or as required
  • Communicate analysis and results to business, GIS partners and management
  • Works on assigned projects to identify requirements and resolve problems
  • Manage small to medium sized projects, developing project plans and monitoring deliverables
  • Prioritize work effort in collaboration with business and GIS partners
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncover areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on current systems, suggest improvements or utilization of unused features
  • Work closely with business, technical, and managerial staff
  • Coordinate end user testing on small to medium sized releases
  • Perform functional user testing and user acceptance testing
  • Update, implement and maintain procedures


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Applications Programming or an equivalent field.
  • 7+ years relevant experience in implementing/supporting business and systems processes, preferably in the retail industry
  • Demonstrated experience in business systems analysis ranging from small system implementations to major systems initiatives.
  • Strong understanding and experience in project management methodologies
  • The ability to develop strong relationships and build consensus among cross-functional stakeholders with different objectives and perspectives
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point) expertise including making effective presentations
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in both agile and waterfall SDLC environments
  • Experience with project management a plus
