April Six is creating a team of modern minded strategists to help our clients solve the intricate and integrated problems technology marketers face; namely, audience planning, communication planning, demand generation, digital experience strategy, content and editorial strategy, along with traditional and modern influencer strategy. As an Associate Strategy Director and demand generation specialist, you will serve as one of our go-to experts for communication planning for our clients, along with supporting developing, communicating, and executing strategic initiatives that will showcase your knowledge in each of these areas.
You will partner with Account and creative teams to ensure our communication plans & GTM strategies reflect best practice engagement techniques, demand generation methodologies, connection strategies, and are born from true insights originated from our team. As a key team lead you will support multiple client accounts and new business opportunities, acting as a digital innovator, communication expert, and experience evangelist at every opportunity.
Discovery to concept, concept to campaign, campaign to program, inception to completion as a communication strategist you will need to have strong knowledge of how ideas come to life and support and guide agency stakeholders and clients through this process to help create truly impressive results for our clients.
Partnering with account lead(s) to develop demand generation plans and go-to-market strategies for clients across tried and true, new and emerging campaign and program touch points (all paid, owned, earned channels)
You will partner with Seattle's Regional Director on new business opportunities where strategic expertise is required
You will be tasked to
o Evaluate and advise on existing client programs/campaigns. Provide insights on current programs and recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
o Integrate pilot/test recommendations into campaigns.
o Plan, execute and evaluate nurture marketing programs through a variety of channels in the marketing mix, including creating integrated marketing campaigns that include email, webinars, advertising and other programs focused on lead generation
o Work closely with content developers to create innovative, personalized messaging
o Support lead conversion and nurture strategies to drive pipeline activity
o Optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, revenue lift, engagement and retention
o Deliver timely marketing plans that include success metrics and reports for defined marketing initiatives
Above all, as our demand generation expert, you will need the ability and desire to dig in and decipher complex products and buyer's journeys, speaking fluently about known analyst / marketing philosophies, and apply this knowledge to our clients.
Digital Experience Strategist:
As a digital experience strategist you will need to have an intuitive grasp of app, social, and mobile interactions along with trends in delivery types and apply these to our client work.
You will need to understand technologies and tools available that could help the agency deliver great digital campaigns. Be able to communicate the key benefits of each to agency colleagues and clients, and play a key role in the selection of the most appropriate ones for each piece of client work
Play an active, collaborative roll to act as an internal evangelist/thought‐leader and enthuse staff about trends, ensuring the knowledge base of the agency is to an appropriate level to allow us to advise clients where required
As a content strategist you will need to have a great understanding of how brands are using video, interactive, long-form and short-form content to tell stories
Be able to apply this understanding to the assessment and organization of existing client content, individual content pieces, and overarching content/editorial plans
Work with creative and account teams to bring these plans to life with compelling and relevant content.
Contribute to Agency's thought leadership content in the form of quarterly blog posts based on agreed strategy.
Provide training and guidance for account team around campaign / program / social best practices
Help define and further the efforts of the April Six strategy department
Essential skills and attributes:
Experience in demand generation, specifically creating and executing demand generation campaigns: understanding target audience, creating the offer, the message, the tactics, enablement, and working with client teams to ensure success
Excellent grasp of B2B/tech marketing, B2B selling concepts and the sales pipeline; appreciation of the latest digital, social, experience trends and their application to b2b & technology marketing
Creativity, balanced with analytics approach to demand gen, including the ability to identify key messages and hooks that will grab a buyer's attention
A sense of urgency and desire to drive results and make things happen, both on your own and by harnessing resources on other teams
Flexible, adaptable and able to think on the spot

5-8 years of agency, planning, and/or marketing experience
