Account Executive, Consulting Services - Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, 27601

The Account Executive, Consulting Services is responsible for developing business within existing clients in the Raleigh area. The position is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This person will report to the Vice President/Business Unit Leader and the Senior Director of Strategy & Execution.

Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for client development and building relationships through office visits, presentations and negotiations;
Proactively initiate client partnerships with targeted accounts & org chart development;
Foster new business by generating sales leads and setting client meetings;
Maximize existing relationships by engaging clients as their primary touch point;
Work to understand client needs and industry trends to provide a high-level of customer service to current clients;
Research client issues and complete requests related to clients/consultants, and internal services;
Develop strategies and proposals for multiple client projects.

Secondary Responsibilities
Meeting prospective consultants at client locations for client interviews;
Maintain CRM database with current documentation of contractors, vendor agreements and complete accurate invoicing information

Self-driven and goal oriented, with a strong work ethic and sense of commitment
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and customer service skills
Flexible and able to work in a self-directed, fast paced, rapidly changing environment
Ability to foster relationships
History of exceeding personal individual goals while working in a team environment

Experience and Education
3-6 years of experience in a customer-facing or sales role
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for long periods of time and/or getting up and down throughout the work day
Ability to view a computer for a long period of time as well as alpha/numeric keyboarding
Ability to travel within the Raleigh area for client meetings and sporadic travel to the Minneapolis area for team meetings.
